Work towards your very own feather cloak. Learn the skills and techniques for cloak making using contemporary materials. Enjoy completing a sampler large enough for a small child by gaining the skills in Taniko weaving, mawhitiwhiti patterns, tags and feather inserts. Protocols and Te Reo pertaining to Raranga Whatu is included in your learning.

Material cost of $30.00 for the "starter" is extra. To be paid to the tutor directly on first evening.  Please bring a pen, pencil and scissors as well.
