Learn the fundamentals of upholstery by attending this beginners class for those who have a small item wanting refurbishment.  Our tutor is an experienced upholsterer and all the basics will be covered in this stage one class.  Strict requirements on the size of the item so no large chairs, please.  Please bring a piece of furniture or project the first night.  There is no storage so any furniture will need to be taken home after each class.

Tools for beginners:  one pair of scissors about 20 cm long, one tape measure metal spring load, one pen ink, one pen felt, one flat blade screwdriver, small hammer, pliers, staple gun.  Material list will be provided by the tutor on the first day of class according to the students' projects.
